First Annual POLAR BEAR WEEK - January 24-30, 2010* because the cold's more precious than we know

Around
the United States, people will be celebrating the first annual Polar
Bear Week - but how? For starters, by leaving an Aurora Borealis Ink Pen on a windowsill, and/or hanging
a Reggie ornament in the window. Why not join in the fun? L-to-R,
below: Card with poem, "Reggie the Red-Eyed Flying Vegetarian
Polar Bear"; Aurora Borealis Ink Pen ('Rora Pen for short), and Reggie
ornament, hung on dried Russian Sage from the garden, in a vase.
Reggie
skywrites her global warming message* with an Aurora Borealis Ink
Pen. The pen's supposed to look like an
electrostatic generator - the kind that makes your hair stand on
end - and works by distilling magnetically-charged
particles into an ink that shimmers green, violet and pink. "When January rolls around Leave your Aurora Borealis Ink Pen On a windowsill, to let Reggie know She's welcome in your household" If you'd like to receive a free Reggie ornament and card, just email reggieATsonyachloe.info with your mailing address - 1 per household. Supplies are limited, and for a limited time only!

What else can you do during Polar Bear Week?
*
Have some spinach pie and carrot juice, in honor of Reggie the Red-Eyed Flying
Vegetarian Polar Bear, who thrives on "bushels of cold slippery kelp" and
"beta-carotene fortified icicle puree." Read more about the polar bear'n'carrot connection at the San Diego Zoo blog, Polar Bear Summer by JoAnne Simerson. (Note: Not affiliated with San Diego Zoo, just really liked this blog entry!) * If you are in the Detroit area, visit the Detroit Zoo's Arctic Ring of Life exhibit. Detroit is Reggie's hometown! * Visit YouTube, and listen to Canadian Inuit activist Sheila Watt-Cloutier discuss global warming. *
Do an online search for "Save the Polar Bears," to learn more - then
donate to your organization(s) of choice! Even $5 will help. ~ Appreciate it! Reggie (growl)
